Every year, once it finally gets cold, I style this plaid coat! It’s been interesting to see how many different outfits I’ve come up with over the past couple of years! This look from last year was one of my most popular fall outfits and I still love that look this year. But I have been loving chunky boots this season so I thought they would be perfect to pair with this coat! Plaid coat & chunky boots, my ideal, easy, effortless fall outfit! It’s actually been getting pretty chilly here too so layered tops like this one that have a higher neckline are great for extra warmth and coverage.

If you’re looking for pieces to invest in this season, check out the interview I did with Farfetch! There’s a bunch of great ideas from other bloggers too as well as tips on Black Friday shopping! Check it out here!

This bag is a new addition too and I am a huge fan of this brand now! Brie Leon has beautiful bags AND jewelry! If you’re looking to add some new gold pieces to your wardrobe, I highly recommend checking them out.

Also wanted to mention that I took this images by myself! I used to do all of my blog photos on my own with a camera and tripod and I’m going back to my roots! It’s honestly great to do everything myself again 🙂

I think I am going to start posting even more outfits on my blog. Instagram has been so frustrating lately and I have been feeling the pressure of it so much lately. I love being able to do this as my job but I feel the pressure of making sure all of my posts will “do well” which in return helps me grow my audience and brands are happier with my engagement rate. Unfortunately, this kind of takes the fun out of it at times! So instead, I think I will be posting more on here. This website is all mine still and sort of like an outfit diary that I get to share with all of you (if anyone even reads blogs anymore lol)

ANYWAYS! I’ve always had a thing for graphic tees. I love just being able to dress them up or down and they’ve been a staple for me for years. I saw this one while scrolling on instagram and instantly knew I had to have it! I love the simple graphics, the words, it’s all great. And it’s actually Eddie Chacon’s album: Pleasure, Joy and Happiness. All things I want to manifest in my life right now.

What I’m wearing: Tee: LCD, Jeans: Vintage Levi’s 501s (shop Levi’s here), Sneakers: New Balance, Bag: OMW Bags, Rings: Wilhelmina Garcia and Wolf Circus, Necklace: Aurate

I’ve really been leaning towards more simple outfits lately. No fuss, just something that I feel good in and looks effortless. I think minimal looks are always a good go to. Plus I still can’t get enough of a matching set! And even though these pieces look like a matching set, they’re actually seperates!

I’m also SO happy to finally say that these trousers are back in stock! I bought them last year and wear them sooo much and I always felt awful that they were sold out when people asked where I got them. I even ended up buying another pair this year just in case! If you’re in between sizes, I would recommend going up in sizes if you want a more loose fit.

What I’m Wearing: Blazer: Lafayette 148 NY, Top: Aritzia, Trousers: & Other Stories, Bag: Staud, Boots: Miista

One of my favorite outfits is a minimal look with sneakers! If you follow me on instagram, you probably know that I have been wearing these sneakers NON STOP lately. I was so inspired when I saw one of my favorite fellow bloggers, Brittany Bathgate style them. She always has the best minimal looks and I felt like these shoes would be a great addition for fall. Sneakers are and always will be a go to, must have, closet staple for me! I was an athlete growing up so it just feels like second nature styling them with my outfits (see outfits here and here). The thing I love most about these is how minimal and simple they are. They go with literally EVERYTHING and I can’t wait to see what other fall pieces that style well with. I’m thinking more blazers and longer trousers! You can’t go wrong with a minimal look with sneakers!

I’ve been getting inspiration here and there for fall outfits and I am curious what are some of your favorite fall trends this year? For shoes, I am really loving that chunky loafers are making a comeback! And that more chunky, platform boots seem to still be a huge thing this year! And they’re the best for stomping around in the rain in Portland 🙂

I don’t really have too much else to say! As much as I love summer, I have been really loving these cooler mornings. I’ve been burning more candles again and enjoying my hot cup of coffee. I’ve even caved and picked up some pumpkin spice creamer…tis the season! lol

I am super excited to finally share my full dining room/nook reveal! I’ve teased it a couple of times on instagram but I am going to share details and links to where I bought everything! I’m sure you’ve seen this table and chair combo before. It’s literally all over Pinterest and my instagram feed but the pair look so good together and I feel likes it’s a great affordable option for aesthetic dining decor. As much as I would love to have a travertine table or a italian marble one, my budget just doesn’t match that right now…so this was the next best option!

A few months ago, I was browsing facebook marketplace and was able to find one of these dining chairs for $40!! I couldn’t believe it! I had my eye on them for awhile and was kind of prepared to buy them brand new, so I was so excited to get at least one second hand! Even though they don’t match, I kind of love the imperfection. Definitely gives the set even more character!

This is where I purchased the other chair! It’s more of a lighter color but the quality is great. Shipping was quick and I have no complaints shopping with them! The dining table was a little bit more of a fiasco. I first purchased a tulip table from a company called Valyou Furniture. I should have been skeptical from the name, but maybe some people have had better luck with them. But I ordered the table and first it took a long time to get here. When it finally arrived, it was completely missing one of the pieces! I contacted customer service, and they were helpful, but didn’t offer any sort of discount or incentive for my troubles. Needless to say, I was kind of tired of waiting to get a dining table that I ended up purchasing this one instead (the one pictured in my photos!) The quality is SO nice for the price too. I honestly love it and it ended up working out for the best.

Anyways, the rest of the decor is a mix of my mugs and plants! The leafy plant is another facebook marketplace purchase and I love the fruit bowl next to it that I got from Etsy. And flowers are always a good, inexpensive way to decorate a dining table!
