I am super excited to finally share my full dining room/nook reveal! I’ve teased it a couple of times on instagram but I am going to share details and links to where I bought everything! I’m sure you’ve seen this table and chair combo before. It’s literally all over Pinterest and my instagram feed but the pair look so good together and I feel likes it’s a great affordable option for aesthetic dining decor. As much as I would love to have a travertine table or a italian marble one, my budget just doesn’t match that right now…so this was the next best option!

A few months ago, I was browsing facebook marketplace and was able to find one of these dining chairs for $40!! I couldn’t believe it! I had my eye on them for awhile and was kind of prepared to buy them brand new, so I was so excited to get at least one second hand! Even though they don’t match, I kind of love the imperfection. Definitely gives the set even more character!

This is where I purchased the other chair! It’s more of a lighter color but the quality is great. Shipping was quick and I have no complaints shopping with them! The dining table was a little bit more of a fiasco. I first purchased a tulip table from a company called Valyou Furniture. I should have been skeptical from the name, but maybe some people have had better luck with them. But I ordered the table and first it took a long time to get here. When it finally arrived, it was completely missing one of the pieces! I contacted customer service, and they were helpful, but didn’t offer any sort of discount or incentive for my troubles. Needless to say, I was kind of tired of waiting to get a dining table that I ended up purchasing this one instead (the one pictured in my photos!) The quality is SO nice for the price too. I honestly love it and it ended up working out for the best.

Anyways, the rest of the decor is a mix of my mugs and plants! The leafy plant is another facebook marketplace purchase and I love the fruit bowl next to it that I got from Etsy. And flowers are always a good, inexpensive way to decorate a dining table!

you can also check out the video tour of my dining room here!

Here are links to everything!

So excited to finally have that fall weather back! I officially put away all of my summer clothes and am in fall mode. Even though it looks like the summer weather might be back to play for just a little longer in Portland (i’m kind of ok with it!) But this look is that ideal first of fall weather go to for me. All I need is a good boot and a cozy sweater. This sweater is SO unique too. I love the details and the more boxy fit. It’s so soft too, great for cooler weather.

I’m always on the hunt for the perfect black jeans and I finally found them! I wish I could share a link but I got them during the Need Supply sale (this fit is the Pen fit) and unfortunately they’re gone now! But I found they they are similar to this style from Khaite! Also I just got this pair from Agolde for fall too and they’re a similar high waisted fit! And the denim is sooo soft! These boots also pair with them SO well so be prepared to see a lot of looks with this jean and boot combo.

What I’m Wearing: Top: Need Supply (they went out of business, sorry!), Jeans: NEED via Need Supply (check out black jean styles here and here), Boots: Miista via Shopbop, Bag: Saks Fifth Avenue (found thrifted!)

Start getting your closet ready for fall with some of my favorite fall must haves!

  1. Coats!! Literally my favorite thing about fall especially puffer coats and plaid/blazers
  2. Boots! Like I said above, I love a good go to boot and jean combo. Make sure you have a favorite boot to start the foundation of a good outfit!
  3. Sweaters! Who doesn’t love a good cozy sweater. I’m loving oversized, flannel style sweaters this year too

First off I want to say I hope everyone on the west coast is staying safe. It’s been a crazy past few days here in Portland. The air quality is SO bad and I have been making sure to stay home as much as possible. It’s so disheartening seeing all of the homes and environment destroyed here in Oregon and all along the west coast. We’re praying for rain over here.

There’s no easy way to ease into talking about clothes and fashion from that but fall weather is creeping up here and I am honestly looking forward to cooler temps for a bit. These knits from Carven are ideal summer to fall pieces. Light enough to wear with jeans or trousers but also great to layer under coats as it cools down even more.

I hope these looks inspire you a little bit as the weather starts to cool down. Is it still warm where you live?

I’ve decided to start sharing more of the in between outfits. The ones I’ve been wearing around the house to stay sane and inspired during quarantine. This is one of those outfits that I would love to wear but don’t really have anywhere to where it too. I found this insanely beautiful green top while thrifting yesterday, and even though I’m pretty sure it’s a mens shirt from the 70s and 4 sizes too big, I love it. It reminds me of something super modern from Lorod too.

The pants were another thrifted find. They’re vintage Levi’s and I almost skipped on them because I thought they would be too small. Turns out taking a chance on them was the way to go. They’re a little snug but I am able to zip them up! Lol and they are literally perfect together!

Try saying that title 5 times fast lol

I’ve been loving the checkered trend just like most people have! I first got this rug for my bedroom and fell in love with the checkered trend ever since. The trend has been popping up even more in fashion and when I saw this top, I had to have it! It’s been a little too hot for an outfit like this but it’s fun to dream of fall and cooler days ahead. Who else is ready to get cozy again in sweaters, puffers, jeans….all the best things?!

White jeans are going to be something I wear after september and into fall. Does anyone even follow fashion rules anymore? I think it’s time we ditch all of them and just wear what we want.

Also in case you don’t follow me on instagram, I had a huge life change recently. Unfortunately, my fiance and I of 7 years, decided to go our separate ways. I ended up moving into a new apartment (I’m keeping both of the dogs of course!) and just taking things day by day. I love this new place and have been taking this time to be single and independent. Anyways, just wanted to share that update especially since you will be seeing my new apartment on here! <3
