There’s no better feeling for me than when I feel proud of the work I create. And these photos are probably my favorite set of images I’ve created since I started blogging over 10 years ago. I’ve been shooting most of my content with my friend, Brady, and it’s incredible to have someone that helps make your vision to come to life. Being able to also collaborate with Issey Miyake was a complete dream come true. You can try out the incredible a drop d’issey, here! It smells AMAZING!!

I’ve had my eye on the Pleats Please pieces for awhile now and they’re even more dreamy in person. I think a good matching neutral set is a good staple to have! Mostly because you basically have three outfits in one: the set, the top and the pants. All interchangable pieces!

I’m sure it’s no surprise when I say that neutrals are a big favorite of mine for spring and summer. I love how easy the pieces are to style together and it’s really makes getting dressed a breeze. Things need to be less complicated during the warmer months right?! If you’re looking for a breezy investment set, look no further than this Pleats Please set! It’s so lightweight, elegant and effortlessly cool (temperature and style wise hahah) The older I get, the more I’ve transitioned my shopping habits to investment pieces combined with thrift/vintage finds!

I was SO excited to finally stop by the Santa Monica Proper a few weeks ago. It’s been on my list of places to see for awhile now and it was even better than I imagined. Interiors have really been intriguing me more than ever lately so this places was literally an inspiration playground. It was also the perfect backdrop for some of my favorite spring looks! For the longest time, I wasn’t feeling inspired at all when it came to outfits. I’m still not fully there but this is one that I was really excited to wear.

I’ve been thrifting since I was in high school and I still love to pair thrift finds with my more modern pieces. These pants were something I found a few months ago. I’ve been seeing so many pairs of flares and casual pants so I was SO happy when I found these while thrifting. They’re another perfect item to wear casually with sneakers or more dress up like I did here with heels and a nice top. Plus they’re so comfortable so it makes dressing them up something to look forward to rather than dreading being uncomfortable.

What I’m wearing: Top: Toit Volant , Pants: Vintage (shop more casual pants here!), Sandals: St. Agni

It’s that time again…spring! Which means the obvious…florals are back 😉 A good floral dress is always a staple for me in Spring and into Summer as you can see in previous posts here and here! I remember when I first saw these pieces from Ciao Lucia, I thought the colors and pattern was incredible! It’s such a fun pop of color against all of the neutrals that are in my closet.

I recently went on a road trip to Texas with my family. When I found out we were going, I knew I had to get myself a vintage pair of cowboy boots. And I found the perfect pair on Etsy! I love the light green stitching detail on these and I think they’re going to be so great to pair with all of my dresses during the warmer months. They’re ideal for just throwing on with a floral dress or skirt!

I’ve been visiting my dad for a couple of weeks down in Arizona and it’s making me look forward to summer even more. I needed to get out of the rainy and gloomy weather and get some sun for a bit. It’s been nice breaking out the shorts and dresses again but it’s also making me realize I need to start preparing my closet for spring and summer again, I’ve basically just been living in my puffer coat back in Portland!

Spring is finally here!!! It’s been a long winter. But spring is finally here and that means it’s also that weird time where it’s not quite cold enough to bundle up but still too chilly for just jeans and tees. This is when I like to wear lighter coats and jackets and still pair my boots with the looks.

Neutrals are always my go to for every season but I love that spring usually means more lighter colors and matching whites and creams together again. This coat was a piece I got a couple of years and still love styling it through the seasons. Just a quick outfit post, I’m currently visiting family (I haven’t seen them in a year!!) and we’re going on a little road trip 🙂 can’t wait to share more!

So excited to share an outfit with one of my favorite Spring purchases….the Labucq Kitty Loafer!

It’s been really tough trying to come up with outfits and honestly getting dressed in anything other than sweats and a hoodie. But this outfit was one of the only looks recently that got me looking forward to dressing up a bit and putting it on. I’ve been seeing these Labucq kitty loafer’s and was glad to finally get a pair myself! They remind me of something I had in middle school which makes me love them even more because of the nostalgia.

One thing I have my radar on for spring/summer this year are sheer tops and printed tops! I know this one isn’t sheer but I love the all over print like this. It’s super 90s to me and I’ve been finding some cool sheer tops while thrifting lately. I think it adds a little personality to a classic pair of black jeans.

What I’m Wearing: Top: Paloma Wool via Shop New Classics – SOLD OUT, Jeans: Need, Shoes: Labucq Kitty Loafer, Rings: J. Hannah, Wolf Circus and Ochre Objects
