Two Ways to Style the Everlane Sleeping Bag Puffer

The Everlane Sleeping Bag Puffer– my essential and go to coat ever since the weather dropped here in Portland. The idea of literally wearing a sleeping bag and it be acceptable makes me so happy lol It’s so warm, lightweight, and still effortlessly cool styled with my boots or sneakers. Puffers are slowly taking over my closet and while I do love a good classic camel or plaid coat for fall, having a puffer is essential as well and a lot warmer. I find myself always reaching for this cozy coat over some of my old favorites.

I wanted to show two different ways to style this coat. They’re both fairly casual but one is more of a street style approach and the other is more fall classic. Both which I love, just depends on what kind of mood I am in to determine which one I would wear that day. Which one do you like more?

Anyways, I love this coat so much. I am wearing a size medium and I am 5 foot 7 if anyone is curious about fit! It also has a hood and pockets…need I say more?!

What I am wearing:

Look One: Coat: c/o Everlane, Pants: & Other Stories, Tee: Brain Dead X A.P.C., Bag: Prada via Farfetch, Shoes: Acne Studios via Shopbop

Look Two: Coat: c/o Everlane, Jeans: Acne Studios via Shopbop, Tee: Rag & Bone, Boots: Miista (last year!)

Simple Holiday Outfit

I am finally back with a blog post! I have been dealing with a cold for what feels like an entire month and I am finally starting to feel a lot better! When I went to Nashville last month, I got really stressed out to the point that I gave myself a cold from it! Then when I got back, I was SO busy and really had no time to recover. I was slowly starting to feel better until I went to visit family and picked up a cold from my little brother. Needless to say, it’s been a rough couple of weeks in the health department over here. But I went to the doctor and finally have more energy again. SO BLOG, LET’S DO THIS!

These photos were taken by my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago in our apartment and I LOVE how they turned out. You know when you have an idea in you head and when you try to execute it, sometimes it just doesn’t work out? Well it was the opposite in this case! I loved how these photos turned out and it really shows this wrap top so well. The holidays are right around the corner and it’s always good to have a piece that you can rely on for last minute holiday parties and occasions. I am not one to dress up too much so a simple dainty wrap top with a few sparkles is perfect for me.

JuJu, my cat, couldn’t help but get in a few photos as well. He is always wanting to know what’s going on lol

What I’m Wearing: Top: c/o Balzac Paris, Jeans: & Other Stories

Chair: France & Son, Cup: Vintage/Thrifted, Vase: Target

Simple Plaid Coat Look

ALL ABOUT PLAID COATS THIS TIME OF YEAR!

I love how simple plaid coats are to style. They go with everything, they scream fall and they make an outfit look polished and effortless all at the same time. This coat was gifted to me from a recent collaboration with Court & Rowe and their pieces are SO good. This plaid coat has a bit of structure to it that reminds me so much of a blazer. Pairing more feminine pieces like a statement necklace and heeled boots is my favorite way of styling more masculine pieces.

ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS BAG REALLY QUICK! Staud never disappoints when it comes to cool bag designs! This one reminded me so much of fall and October that I felt like it was the perfect piece to pull this fall outfit together. The shape is so unique and looks like a moon just like its name.

What I’m Wearing: Coat: c/o Court & Rowe (I’m wearing a size medium), Tee: RE/DONE, Necklace: Maslo, Jeans: Khaite via Shopbop, Purse: STAUD via Shopbop, Boots: c/o ABLE (use my code TONYA20 for 20% off!) Rings: Mejuri & Wolf Circus

My Go To Color to Wear for Fall

We have been having the most incredible fall weather in Portland this week! I don’t want to jinx it but I can’t help but mention it! It’s been a little chilly but still sunny and the leaves are slowly starting to change. It’s seriously so beautiful to see. This means I am in full fall outfit mode! One of my go to color to wear this time of the year, apart from neutrals of course is brown! I love this chestnut color this time of year. It’s such a great color to pair with so many of my other favorite fall colors and really just works as a good base for all of my outfits.

Are you tired of this coat yet?! I got it last year and I am still very into it! Plaid and plaid coats are always a staple for me when it comes to fall outfits. It almost acts like a neutral as well because it can be paired with a variety of colors and prints as well.

That’s it for today! I am in cleaning mode for some reason so I want to get a few more things done around the apartment before I head to my friends for Harry Potter marathon day two!!

What I’m Wearing: Coat: The Frankie Shop (similar here or shop plaid coats here), Tee: RE/DONE, Necklace: Lucy Williams x Missoma London, Pants: c/o J.ING, Boots: c/o Miista (last year), Bag: Simon Miller via Shopbop

Where to Stay at in Nashville

I just got back from Nashville yesterday! This was my first time ever being in the South! I was born and raised on the West Coast so I was really looking forward to seeing this part of the country for the first time. I was invited as part of a work trip but I decided to extend my stay so that I would have time to explore and see Nashville. When going somewhere new, it can be kind of tough finding a good hotel to stay at, especially if you’re not familiar with the area. So after scrolling on Instagram I found exactly where to stay in Nashville… Noelle!

Noelle was built back in the 20s and was originally a hotel (called the Noel, I learned this from one of the bartenders at The Trade Room!) and recently they converted it back to a hotel which is why it is now a Tribute hotel! Noelle has the most beautiful interiors, it feels like you’re traveling back in time to the rolling 20s. I spent my last night in Nashville just hanging out in the hotel and it was great! I enjoyed an Old Fashioned at the Trade Room and the bartender was so friendly, it didn’t feel like I was so far from home.

Then I ended the night on the roof top watching a bit of the football game and a beautiful view of Nashville and then ordered room service of course! Another thing I really loved about Noelle, was that there were so many great local elements to it right in one place. The lobby is shared with Drug Store Coffee where they have Barista Parlor coffee, a Nashville staple! And then they have a beautiful gift shop in the lobby as well where I picked up a coffee mug made by a Nashville local!

Anyways, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Nashville, I can’t recommend Noelle enough. Just look at those beautiful interiors!

(Noelle gifted my stay but all opinions are my own!)
