I’m a big believer in wearing exactly what you want, despite trends. But they can be a fun way to explore your personal style so I thought I would share a few of my favorite trends to try this fall! If you’re on the fence about a certain tend or uncertain if it will fit your personal style, try thrifting the trend first. This is a great way to try it out without really investing in anything. Anyways, let’s get into it!

3 Trends to try this fall:

  1. Cottagecore/Folk/70s Revival – This outfit is definitely inspired by this trend. I’ve been seeing so many homemade pieces, knits, crochet, lace, so many pieces that feel like someone made them! This reminds me so much of what was going on in the 70s. Rather than just throwing away clothes or donating them, people would often mend the pieces themselves or add patches to worn areas. I love seeing this sort of thing come back because it’s so much better for the environment.
  2. Cowboy Boots – I’m sure you saw this one coming! The good news is, if you already were into this trend for summer then it will be so easy to transition this one into fall. One of my favorite fall looks I’ve seen with cowboy boots is pairing them with a dress and an oversized blazer. This is a super easy summer to fall outfit!
  3. Tailored Menswear – More blazers, trousers, and vests! Think looks like this! This is always one of my favorite trends but at this point, I wouldn’t even call it a trend. Feminine twists on mens fashion is always one of my go to looks (see this look here!) and has been popular for many years now. Pinstriped pants are on my list this fall. I’ve even thrifted a few pairs that I’m looking forward to styling!

What are some fall trends you’re looking forward to wearing this fall? I would love to hear them!

I’m not kidding when I say this is the outfit I have on repeat. I think I wore this a few times last week! I’ve always been a sucker for a good, simple graphic tee. They’re such a staple to have! I think I ended up wearing this graphic tee with jeans, these pants, over a dress, with a skirt…the options are endless and I love that! Something I’ve been wanting to share more on here and over on my instagram, is rewearing and styling pieces different ways. And also mixing secondhand and vintage pieces with modern items.

These pants were a recent thrift find and I can’t get enough of them! They’re so soft and I’ve found them in a few colors! They ended up pairing perfectly with this graphic tee and of course I had to style them with the vintage cowboy boots I bought for my Texas trip. They ended up being perfect for walking around Joshua Tree!

Also I realized I have t-rex arms in 90% of the photos in this post. lol

MINI REVIEWS!

I recently decided that I am going to start including sizing details in my outfit posts as well as just mini reviews on the products! I feel like it would be a little helpful!

  1. Realisation Par Horoscope tee: I purchased my usual size (medium) and I feel like it fit exactly how I wanted it too! It’s slightly cropped and is a good medium weight cotton tee. I’ve washed it twice already, mostly because I spill on myself all of the time lol, but laid it to dry. The neck area of the tee did start to scrunch a bit so just something to keep in mind. Overall, I love this tee and wear it all the time!
  2. Urban Outfitters Ash Sunglasses: I love these and wear them all of the time! I feel like they’re a little trendy, which is why I decided to buy a cheap pair rather than invest in a style like this. I wouldn’t say they’re the best for sun protection but just fun to wear with outfits and when I’m out and about 🙂

Airbnb in Arcosanti, AZ

If you follow me on instagram, I’m sure you saw my recent posts from Arcosanti, AZ. This place has been on my southwest bucket list for awhile. While I was searching through Airbnb the other night, I saw that there happened to be availability! You all know how much I love staying at fun airbnb’s (like here and here!), so I was REALLY excited to be able to stay here. To visit Arcosanti, you don’t have to stay at an Airbnb but the experience was so much more special and unique waking up there. The architecture was so inspiring and felt like I was sleeping on another planet. The entire place just felt so peaceful and was honestly what I needed after a long week of traveling shortly beforehand.

The second night I was there, I sat out on the little balcony in the room, drinking red wine and watching the lightening storms and it was MAGIC!

I had so many questions about this airbnb so of course I want to share the link! It’s booked up pretty frequently so my suggestion would be to keep checking ever so often for a cancelation. I also think that there’s rooms available through the Arcosanti website as well, so that might be worth checking out!

Here’s a link to the Arcosanti Airbnb I stayed at!

And here is the other one that’s on my list to stay at too! Sky Suite at Arcosanti

I recently moved to Arizona so if you have any suggestions of places to visit, please let me know! I’m trying to make a big Southwest bucket list and slowly check it off 🙂

Ok July was such a hectic, stressful, exciting, BUSY month and I realized I went the entire month without posting on here! I really try to post as often as possible but let’s be honest…life gets crazy sometimes! I have some news I want to share at some point but for now, I just want to share this outfit!

I know it’s been super hot out in many places (at least in the US) but this outfit has me looking forward to cooler fall months! Cardigans are always a staple for me. I think they work so well for so many different seasons and I love the different ways they can be worn. I typically like wearing them more as a top rather than layered over a tee or tank. They just end up looking like a cute top with buttons.

A trend I’ve seen SO much lately is wearing lots of color! As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed I’ve tended to be drawn towards more neutral tones because they can be styled together easily and I feel like I get the most out of my clothes and wardrobe that way. But there’s still ways of wearing fun color combos together and keep it classic! Yellow is such a great color to pair with neutrals, especially brown. I know I might look a little like a banana split but I love it! What are some of your favorite color combinations to wear lately?

What I’m Wearing: Cardigan: Danielle Guizio via Farfetch (use code TONYA10 for 10% off!), Pants: St. Agni, Checkered Ring: J Hannah, Dome Ring: Mejuri

Finding cool artwork can be pretty easy but when it comes to frames that fit them…that’s a whole other story. But luckily, I’ve got you covered! I’ve purchased a few frames from Level Frames and they’re by far the best custom frames. The site is SO easy to use and all you have to do is add the measurements of your print, poster or art and that’s basically it! They have a wide variety of options for wood and colors as well. I’m always impressed every time I order from them and how beautiful they make my art look. I think one of the other main reasons I love Level Frames so much is that they have the option to get non-glare! In the past when I would order frames, I would get them and would noticed the light glare and reflection of everything. But when the non-glare, you can see the art so much better. I wasn’t kidding when I said that Level Frames has the best picture frames!!

If you’re wondering what wood color the frames are that I’ve gotten, I usually go with the Natural Maple color! I think it just looks classic and timeless and serves as a great simple frame color. But as I said, they have a bunch of other color options available as well! All customized to what you’re looking for 🙂

Level Frames is also offering $15 towards your first purchase through the link below!! Happy framing!
