I have been looking forward to sharing this post with you all! After seeing so many photos on pinterest and accounts that I love, I decided I wanted a few pieces of artwork to hang up in my office. Artwork can be really expensive so I wanted to find websites that would be affordable without compromising the look I wanted. After doing some research and purchasing myself, I can share what I found with you all!

So here is where I got all of the pieces starting at the top left corner, going clockwise.

1. Abstract block print – Society6

White Frame – Target

2. Line Drawing – Wit & Delight

Tan Wooden Frame – American Frame

3. Text Print – Society6

White Wooden Frame – American Frame

4. Freddie Mercury Live Aid – Etsy

Thrifted Wooden Frame

5. Desert Beach – Society 6

Thrifted Wooden White Frame

6. Abstract Shape Print- Wit & Delight

Thrifted Wooden Frame

For the frames, I had a harder time finding! I didn’t realize how expensive frames can be and that is what really delayed the wall from coming together. After looking all over online and asking you all, I finally found some that worked great. I found a few at local thrift shops. This was a bit of a pain though because I didn’t measure properly before shopping, so make sure to know what sizes you need and even bring a measuring tape to the thrift store if you need to! Target also had great frames at an affordable price. But they didn’t have many options when it came to different sizing. Then I finally realized I was going to have to buy some custom frames. After looking online for a bit, I decided to order a couple from American Frame. Their frames were absolutely beautiful but they required some self assembly which was a bit of a pain. Overall though, I really recommend them for the price!

I hope this post inspires you to redecorate for yourself and know that you can do so without spending a huge amount of money! It just takes a little bit of time, research and maybe stumbling upon a good blog post to help you out 😉 let me know what print is your favorite!!

I had such a nice weekend this past week! My boyfriend, Leo, and I went to Cannon beach this weekend with one of my best friends and her husband and it was such a nice little getaway! Even though I work form home and the beginning of the year is always pretty slow for me, this little trip away was really what I needed. It was nice to not check my emails, worry about social media, and just live in the moment a little more and laugh with good company. I was expecting it to be raining the entire weekend but we got SO lucky with beautiful weather! Friday night, Leo and I caught the sunset and then Sunday morning enjoyed coffee on the beach under the sun. Since it does rain so much at the Oregon Coast, those sunny days are really incredible.

During this trip I actually packed pretty light compared to what I usual pack! I ended up only bringing my Blundstone boots because they’re warm and waterproof…perfect for the coast. And I wanted very simple outfits so I also only brought a pair of 501 Levi’s that could easily be worn with different tops. This day was sunny but still chilly so it was ideal for this knit cardigan/sweater. I love the color and the simple details. I also brought my favorite rain jacket for those rainy moments too!

What I’m Wearing: Sweater: c/o & Other Stories, Jeans: Vintage 501 Levi’s (similar here), Bag: Doen, Boots: c/o Blundstone, Necklace: Wolf Circus

Re-wearing a few of my favorite pieces! This denim, tee and coat combo has been a go to for me for a couple of years now. This time of the year can be kind of tough when deciding what to wear because it’s so cold! Plus it’s been raining a lot in Portland of course, so I tend to stay indoors more than usual. But this would be an outfit I would keep in mind for drier days for going out or just running around town on my boyfriend’s day off. I love how this bag adds a bit of a pop of color too and I love matching baby blue when I am wearing lighter denim. Baby blue and yellow for spring…two colors I am looking forward to wearing more soon!

On a side note, have you checked out my vintage shop on etsy?! I reopened it and am really excited about the feedback already! I will be adding new pieces next week too so make sure to favorite the shop and check my instagram for more update!

I can’t believe I haven’t shared these photos yet! These were from our day last month taking photos at a studio here in Portland. It was SO much fun to try something new with the location and photography of my usual photos. And my boyfriend nailed the photos right?! I thought they turned out so beautiful, the lighting in there was incredible!

This suit is one of my favorite vintage finds from last year. Doesn’t it look like something you could find just shopping online on a modern clothing website? I love how modern it looks! Wearing it with sneakers really gives it that casual streetwear look that I love for matching suit sets. Plus it makes it comfortable!

Also, I don’t share sneakers as much as I should on here. I actually wear sneakers a lot throughout the week, whether they’re for working out, running errands or just to pair with my look…I just never end up wearing them much in my blog posts. Anyways, I want to share and link a few of my favorite pairs that I love and wear often.

  1. Nike Cortez– These are the ones seen in the photos here. I love how simple they are but still give that effortless, street style look when paired with…anything! I really want the white ones next!
  2. Adidas Ultra Boost– MY FAVORITE SNEAKERS EVER. EVER. These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I have bought myself my second pair recently because I wore out the other pair. I can’t suggest these shoes enough.
  3. Converse Chuck 70 – These are a little bit pricier than the usual converse. These ones have padding in the soles which make them so comfortable! And converse are another shoe that go with EVERYTHING!
  4. Nike Air Max 97– The cool, out there, statement sneaker. I love wearing these when I want to spice up a basic look.

That’s all for this blog post folks! Make sure to check out my vintage shop if you haven’t already!!
