Realisation Par (sizing details!)

Have you ever ended up losing something in your closet and then rediscover it and it’s the best feeling ever? This green dress was that for me. For some reason, when I first got it, I didn’t wear it too much. I think I just didn’t think I could “pull it off” or something. WHICH IS BS. The thin straps can be a little intimidating to me because I have always been weary about my shoulders and arms (we’re our own worst critiques aren’t we?) But then when I found this dress again, I fell in love with it again. Dresses like this that can easily be thrown on with sneakers are my favorite. It’s the ideal summer outfit for me. Easy, comfortable but still making it seem like I know what I am doing when I get dressed in the morning.

I also wanted to share a little insight on sizing with Realisation Par. I don’t think there is too much information out there about their sizing so I thought I would help just a little! I am typically a size 6/8, medium in dresses and a 27/28 in jeans. This dress, I got a size medium. It is a little tight in the rib area which can get uncomfortable, especially if you like to eat a big lunch or dinner like me. lol So if you’re in between sizes, I would size up in Realisation Par. Same goes for the leopard skirt, I have it in medium and do have a little bit of a butt and thicker thighs and it’s snug. It’s not a bad fit but I definitely wouldn’t be able to wiggle into a small. I hope that helps a little bit!

I also just uploaded my San Francisco Vlog if you want to check that out! We went to a bunch of really great restaurants and places in SF, and make sure to watch it until the end… lol

Chinatown, San Francisco

WOW. What a week, what a trip to SF I had.

If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know that my friend Esperanza (@theurbandarling) and I went to San Francisco this past week and while we were there, my car got broken into. The thief ended up stealing my friend’s laptop and THEN cashed a check for himself from the checks inside. We then had to drive from San Francisco to Portland without a window, into the fires that are going on as well. Needless to say, it’s been a long tough week.

But despite those difficulties, we really did have such a fun time in San Francisco. We walked so much, saw so many things and of course took way too many photos haha And now I am finally able to sit and catch up, edit them and share the content! So let’s start with one of our first stops of the trip…Chinatown in San Francisco.

There’s obviously a Chinatown in Portland, but I had never seen a Chinatown like the one is San Francisco. IT WAS SO COOL. The first night there, we walked around as the sun was going down to see all of the lights. It reminded me a bit of Blade Runner with all of the neon lights and cool signs. Honestly, exploring this area of San Francisco was one of my favorite things we did on the trip.

Now on to my outfit. This outfit was styled with the walking we had planned in mind. I wanted to be comfortable but still cute of course! This tee is one of the SOFTEST, COMFIEST tees that I own. Plus paired with sneakers, this outfit really nailed it in the comfort category.

Alright well I have some emails to catch up on from the week so that’s it for now! LOTS of SF content coming up!
