You guys, I am honestly stumped of what to wear most days this time of year. Portland’s weather is always so all over the place in Spring. It’ll be sunny in the morning and then start pouring a couple of hours later. Then it will be chilly and warm up in an instant. It makes it super difficult to decide wtf to wear! I’ve been living in a rain jacket most of the time but yesterday we finally got a dry day and I was able to wear this. I just wanted to wear something simple. Jeans with a nice top and pair it off with my favorite pair of shoes I could finally wear since it was dry out. When I wanted to wear something a little more comfortable for errands, I just swapped out these shoes for my converse.

This top was a recent thrift find and I just love the neckline! Another great piece to dress up or down and I have been on the look out for great basics like this more than ever. Sometimes it’s nice to just have some basics that are effortless and don’t require too much effort to put together.

Anyways, I am looking so forward to our trip to the desert in just a couple of weeks. I took some time off last week while I was in Reno and have been playing catch up ever since. Another vacation is already needed! Who else is feeling the same way?

What I’m wearing: Top: Vintage/Thrifted (I sell vintage here!), Necklace: Wolf Circus, Coat: Mango, Jeans: Vintage 501 Levi’s (similar here), Shoes: Mari Giudicelli, Bag: Doen (sold out)

Who else is a complete sucker for wide leg denim lately?! They’re slowly taking over my closet and outfits. It’s just a classic style right now that I can’t get enough of! Everlane just announced their new Denim Drop – Edition Two and it’s the ultimate wide leg jean. The waiting list is now open but I was able to receive a pair to share with you a bit before the launch and to answer any questions you might have about them!

In case you’re curious about sizing, I might not have the best information since I have only tried a couple of jeans from Everlane in the past. In the past though, I felt like the pairs I had ran a bit small and these ones I would say are more true to size. I am 5 foot 7, 150lbs and got the 27 and they fit PERFECT! The hold their shape really well too with wear which is so important to me. I can stand when jeans start to wrinkle and crease around the crotch area. Of course they’re going to a little bit, but for the most part these are stiff and a nice thick denim feel. Not too much stretch! The only complaint I have about these jeans, if any, is I prefer my wide leg pants to be a bit longer, that way I can wear them with boots. These ones I would say are better for spring where you can show more ankle and wear with sandals. That could just be my opinion though!

For this post, I also wanted to show how versatile these jeans, and any wide leg jean, can be! It’s important for me to have pieces that can be styled multiple ways depending on what I feel like wearing that day or what I have planned.

Let me know what outfit is your favorite! And if you have any questions about the jeans, ask below and I will be happy to answer! I am also wearing the lighter shade of the two available.

And make sure to get on the Everlane Denim Drop Waitlist here!!

(also just wanted to mention, this post is not sponsored or paid. I was gifted these jeans from Everlane to try and share before the launch though!)
