I’m trying something a little different. I’ve been inspired by some other fashion blogger who frequently share some of their top favorite pieces so I decided to try it out for myself! I can’t get enough of these style of shoes lately. The little mary jane with an ankle strap. I’ve never been crazy about pumps or heels but something about a low heel is so cute and a great feminine touch to my tomboy basics. They go with so many different outfits too. They’re definitely a must have right now I think!

And even though fall is pretty much over, I still can’t get enough of this beautiful pumpkin color!

Also, if you’re in Portland, make sure to stop by Madewell in the Brewery Blocks on Saturday from 2-5pm to hangout with me and sip on hot-toddys and eat smores! It’s going to be fun!!

Let’s face it, we’re not getting any younger. And while I’m not the kind of girl that stresses about wrinkles or getting grey hairs, it’s still nice to add things into my routine that can help delay any of that process. mē, one of the leaders of the at-home beauty tool revolution, has created a copper-infused pillowcase and eye mask to help prevent wrinkles and sleep creases! They’re even clinically proven, so you know you’re going to see results you love. I’ve always loved sleeping in, but this is just another great reason to get those extra Zs! They’re so soft and remind me of silk and the creamy white color fits right into my bed décor as well. Another benefit of the pillowcase, is that it helps smooth your hair and prevent bed head. One of my favorite things about the holiday season and the weather cooling down is being able to wear outerwear again! I love big oversized coats and jackets, they really just make an outfit! Not only are they great to have but they are also great gifts to give and receive! I can just see the smile my mom would have on her face if she unwrapped a beautiful coat I picked out for her! So I have linked some of my favorite outerwear pieces from Marks & Spencer for a variety of people on your list. This could be mom, dad, step mom or dad, brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, bestie, teacher, your crushhhh, or anyone else you can think of. This peacoat from Marks & Spencer was one that definitely caught my eye. The muted green makes it perfect for this time of the year and paired with red or maroon shoes create a simple festive look!

Well back to the grind! Breaks are never long enough are they?

Days like this, there’s nothing like a really comfortable outfit. And what could be more comfortable than denim, sneakers and a cozy sweater. This sweater has been a new go-to. I love that it’s a modern piece from Free People but it looks like I could have gotten it at a thrift store. It’s screams That 70s Show!!

Vans have been my favorite these days too. I hadn’t owned a pair since high school, back when I was trying to learn how to longboard (hahaha) There a new staple again!

Pretending I’m in Paris

These photos and this place really made me feel as though I had immediately left Oregon and was transported to Paris or something! Which would be a dream if I could just suddenly appear in Europe since the idea of being in a plane for that long scares the crap out of me! haha

I’ve been recently inspired more and more by Parisian women and their effortless style. I love how they have certain pieces that work for them and they wear them on repeat, almost like a uniform. This bag is without a doubt a part of my own personal uniform, along with these jeans. It’s nice to have those pieces that are always there and make you feel good. That’s what style is all about right?!

Also, I can’t thank Dawn Photo enough for these amazing images! She’s my favorite photographer to work with these days, aside from my boyfriend of course! haha She does amazing work….if you’re getting married or need some senior photos, she’s your girl! (plus she loves to travel!!)

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving weekend! I am going to take the weekend to eat LOTS of food and hangout with my mom’s side of the family! I will be back on Monday, taking full advantage of this break! <3
