RE/DONE is one of those brands that is pretty well known but if you don’t know of them…you need to know of them! I discovered them a couple of years ago but this past year they have been an essential to my everyday wardrobe. Levi’s are my go to jeans but many times, when I get a classic vintage pair, they aren’t always the most flattering on my body. Usually the legs are super wide or they just don’t fit my butt they way I want them to. But RE/DONE takes vintage Levi’s and tailors them to fit more modern. Sweet right? The ones I am wearing now are the high waist ones and they’re my go to for so many outfits!

I hope you all had a great Christmas and holidays! It was so nice to take a mini break from blogging and social media to spend time with my boyfriend and his family. But I am refreshed and ready to get back to the routine!

What to Wear for Holiday Parties & NYE

Typically, my style is pretty minimal, boho or a little tomboy.  But there is definitely a time where getting something extra girly and feminine is fun. Holiday parties and NYE is all about dressing up and wearing something fancy…so what could be better than a sparkly dress?! I love the simple shape of this dress so that the material really stands out. And adding some silver boots with all of it made me instantly think “David Bowie” for some reason. 
It’s just nice sometimes to wear something that says “Look at me”, especially when I’m typically someone who is pretty shy at first. It gives me some confidence and shine not only from the outside but the inside as well. So this NYE or for the holiday’s, make sure to put on something sparkly!!

Winter Red

There’s something so special about the color red. Over the past year or so, I have really been wearing it more and more. It’s perfect for any winter look as well to make a bold statement (and it’s festive too! haha)
This is basically a simple, go -to outfit I have been drawn to lately: sweater, levi’s, and boots. It can be worn so many different ways and it’s nice to look cute while still staying warm. 
A great way to make a simple sweater outfit a little more edgy, is by wearing a cropped sweater. It’s a little more playful and cute with a belt as well (currently on my wishlist).
Do you guys have a go-to look for winter days?
Also, I FINALLY am on winter break and it’s SO AWESOME. This past semester was a doozy…but I only have 2 left until graduation is here!!! WOOOT.

Holidays with Fossil

The holiday’s are the best and the busiest time of the year and being a full time blogger and student makes it even busier! I’m happy that this year, I have my Fossil Q watch to help me stay on track. It alerts me when I get notifications on my phone and also monitors and counts my steps. Isn’t that great for the holidays? That way I don’t have to feel bad about all of the food I eat this this time of year! 
The best thing about my Fossil Q watch is that it goes so well with my style. I love the simple design and the neutral color. Great for so many different outfits and combinations. I actually think I will be getting my mom one for Christmas too…

Favorite Stocking Stuffers from Urban Outfitters!

There are so many things I love about Christmas and the holiday season. But one of my all time favorite things has always been stockings! My mom always wrapped up little gifts and my step mom filled them with candy! Best of both worlds! So I thought I would share some of my favorite gifts from Urban Outfitters that are perfect for stocking stuffers. 
Instax are SO much fun for the holidays. They’re great for capturing memories of opening gifts and spending time with those that you love. Some other favorites of mine are basically anything from Mario Badescu, I LOVE the rose water. It’s great for dry skin or even setting your makeup. And isn’t this nail polish set amazing! I combined the colors with the sparkles on top…great for a festive look!
Also, what could be better than some cute string lights? I put these copper star lights on my mini tree!
