Monochromatic Burnt Orange

Fall is long gone, but these “fall colors” are seriously great for any season! I think the days are gone where certain colors are restricted to a specific seasons. Pastels and whites are so fun in winter and darker tones can still work great in spring!
I also love paring variations of the same color all together in one outfit. It makes the outfit come together effortlessly. That’s one of my main style tricks to make an outfit instantly more fashion forward…pairing monochromatic things together.
Also, wicker bags are seriously taking over my purse collection. There’s just something I really love about them! They have a classic vintage feel but also go so well with any outfit whether you’re wearing all black or browns!

Must Have Sunglasses for Spring

FullSizeRender

Typically, I consider myself a shoe girl but lately, I have been really loving sunglasses! They’re another great way to accessorize an outfit without having to worry about jewelry. So I thought I would share some of my favorite sunglasses that are perfect for transitioning back into spring and sunnier days! (I’m ready, it’s been extra gloomy and rainy in Portland)

Whimsy + Row Beauty!

Even though I consider myself a fashion blogger, I have a soft spot for trying out new beauty products (especially bath products!). I was lucky enough to try some products from Harlow carried at Whimsy + Row. The Rustic Bath Soak was probably my favorite mostly because there are dried flowers in it so it looks like you’re taking a bath in a bunch of wild flowers (you can see in the last photo)! It just adds that extra element of relaxation to a bath.
I also reallyyy love the Eye Repair Serum. It’s a great little something to add to my makeup routine in the morning and just wake up my eyes. It’s a nice and refreshing feeling!
Make sure and check these products out at Whimsy + Row! The packaging is adorable and the product is even better! Let me know what you guys think!!

How to Look Stylish in the Rain

It is a constant struggle living in Portland and trying to look cute while still being weather appropriate. While wearing all white in a down pour might not be the best idea (this day it wasn’t raining tooo bad), I think having a good stylish raincoat is the perfect accessory for any rainy day.
I was recently introduced to Stutterheim rain jackets and I am SO glad to finally have discovered them. Their jackets, not only, are so effortlessly cool, you can wear them even when it isn’t raining. They also, seriously do their job of keeping you dry so well. I have another color for when I just want to wear more neutrals but I thought having a pink one would be fun too!
Make sure and check out their coats here:

Adding Drama with Sleeves

It’s pretty obvious that sleeves are trending lately. Exaggerated, bell, oversized, tied, they’re all coming back and making a great and simple statement. I always like to ease into things to see if they are for me so I love this simple bell sleeve with the slit. It’s the perfect touch without going too overboard. This type of top can go perfectly with denim or even a midi or maxi skirt.

There’s just nothing like a good nursery. I love being surrounded by plants and greenery and getting inspired to make my apartment feel the same as well. They’re so calming and refreshing.
