And it’s probably a look that you have sitting in your closet already! I love wearing looks like this because they look put together without looking like you tried way to hard or thought to much about it. It’s just simple and effortless and I want more of my outfits to feel that way. Especially this time of year when the weather is confusing and you never can really predict or decide what to wear!

Best Slip for Spring

6L0A44826L0A44996L0A44606L0A45126L0A44746L0A4492 I’ve already mentioned many time how I am super into the color red right now, so when I saw this slip from Splendid…it was love at first sight! It’s super perfect for spring since the length is about mid calf and has the simple straps. I can just imagine all of the ways it can be styled! But since the Portland weather has been a bit unpredictable, it still goes so well with a rain coat.
If red isn’t really your thing, this slip also comes in a couple of other colors! I think I might have to get another one jut because how versatile it really is.

Basket bags have really become a staple for me. They go with EVERYTHING and are a great way to add an effortless, vintage touch to an outfit. I always get so many compliments on my bags and some of the ones I have found are vintage. SO I wanted to share some of my favorite basket bags that aren’t vintage and that you can get too!

Can’t Stop Wearing Red

I can’t stop wearing the color red these days, I know I’ve said it before but it’s still going strong. This is another one of those great transition into spring looks. We had a nice beautiful day but it was still kind of chilly, so this look was great for just that. I’ve also noticed there are certain pieces I tend to wear over and over again just styled differently. This bag goes with so many things as do a simple pair of denim. It’s a good way to get re-inspired by your closet…just pick out some of your favorite pieces and try to style them in a few different ways. You never know, you might end up finding your new favorite outfit.

Ok, so I have to tell you 3 things:
1. I’m pretty sure I wore this outfit at least 4 times last week.
2. These earrings are clip ons because I’m being a baby about getting my ears re-pierced
3. I told my mom the 80s were back and she laughed.
Want to try out the 80s trend for yourself? Here’s a super simple way to do it. Buy some funky, big earrings! Definitely inspired by the 80s these days and trying to subtly infuse it into my style.
