Favorite Place to Shop for Graphic Tees

dawnphotography-92dawnphotography-93 >dawnphotography-89dawnphotography-78dawnphotography-74 dawnphotography-71dawnphotography-68dawnphotography-65 dawnphotography-56 NEW FAVORITE BRAND ALERT: MONOGRAM. I’ve been stalking them on Instagram for awhile now and I am so happy to finally own one of their tees! I love how edgy the graphics are while still being very cool and modern. This one in particular leaves a bit to the imagination but that’s what sets it apart from just another graphic tee. Not to mention, they’re ridiculously soft.
There are so many other great graphics on their site as well! They have sweatshirts with cropped sleeves that would be great as the weather warms up and they’re reminiscent of the late 70s, early 80s…so good.

MAKE SURE AND CHECK OUT MONOGRAM FOR YOURSELF!

Also, very happy about the fact that my friend, Dawn, and I happened to stumble across the most beautiful old vw beetle ever. The fact that it was red and had a convertible top had me drooling even more.

I think denim on denim will always be one of my favorite ways to style a denim jacket. Some might be scared to try and pull it off but I think it’s such a cool and effortless way to wear denim. Even though it it effortless, I think it still makes a statement and stands out. The distressed and frayed look of both the jacket and jeans from Unpublished Denim is another really cool detail I think! And the jeans are super comfortable and stretchy. I could wear them all day!
Sunglasses have been another favorite accessory of mine these days. Similar to shoes, I think they really can make or break an outfit. I got these Raybans from SmartBuyGlasses! They have so many great styles at a discounted price! It’s a great way to get some name brand sunglasses for the summer! These are going to go with so many of my outfits in the upcoming weeks and months. Check them out!

Current Staple: Embroidered Tees

Embroidered and graphic tees are basically taking over my wardrobe and a lot of other ladies out there too it seems! They’re just the perfect piece to have to throw on with jeans and run out the door. I love having those easy outfits that I can always go to when I just want to comfortable. The red on this one too makes it stand out a bit too and almost doubles as an accessory as well.
I’m wearing a new brand/shop I discovered when they reached out to me, Nakd. They have some super cute pieces and most are reasonably priced as well. Both my tee and jeans are from there and they sell accessories too! Have you guys heard of them before? What do you think?
Also, starting to notice that so many of the places I end up taking photos are inside nurseries. They’re beautiful and I always want to take more plants home with me!

Brand to Know: ONLY CHILD

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this before, but one thing I really love about blogging is discovering new brands to fall in love with. Only Child is a new recent favorite and I can’t get enough of this jumpsuit. Another thing that I love just as much, is when the brands are ran by women just like me! Only Child is a brand based out of Oakland and designed and created by Haley Tucker. She wanted her brand and pieces to be really versatile and steer away from fast fashion that can leave one feeling empty handed when it comes to their wardrobe. I think she nailed it! This jumpsuit is instantly my new go-to. It’s incredibly comfortable and so easy to wear. It’s going to be great for summer too since the fabric is light and breathable as well. THANK YOU ONLY CHILD!
Make sure and check out more of Only Child’s pieces! They have some adorable tops too that will be perfect with jeans! They’re definitely a brand to your eye on!
Alsooo, I just recently got myself these shoes after eyeing them and drooling over them for months and I am pretty sure they’re not going to leave my feet for awhile.

Top Peasant Blouses for Spring/Summer

tonya-17tonya-16tonya-19tonya-18

I’ve always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with peasant blouses. I love the boho style most of the time but I don’t like when it looks too “costumey” and tacky. When I found this blouse at a local shop (The Please & Thank You shop) I fell in love and it changed my mind on them! This one has some great simple details that make it interesting and it’s light and breezy which makes it great for the upcoming warmer days. I love tops that I can tuck into my jeans and this one is perfect for that as well.
My favorite accessories that are going to be on repeat for awhile are definitely mules and basket bags. They literally go with so many things! I just am patiently waiting for the weather to warm up a bit so that I can wear them more often without worrying about the rain!
So back to the peasant tops, I’m going to share my top 6 favorite peasant blouses right now that are perfect for spring….and aren’t over the top and feel like you just walked out of Woodstock.
TOP PEASANT BLOUSES FOR SPRING:
