Can I just be transported back to LA real quick? I instantly fell in love with Maru Coffee. I had been stalking this place on instagram for so long, planning a visit when I made it back to LA. The place was just as I had imagined. I loved the gorgeous ceramic cups the lattes came it, the subtle dried flowers and the beautiful light that shined through out the shop. There’s just something special about having a cup of coffee in a place that sets the mood.
Ok, I have a brand you guys NEED to check out. Our Second Nature is a hidden gem that I happened to stumble across over the summer and they’re a new favorite of mine. They make the perfect minimal, unique pieces that I am sure you guys will love as well. When I wear this jumpsuit, I feel like I am wearing a piece of art. It’s comfortable too and the belt gives it the perfect feminine touch. But honestly, I would probably rock it with out a belt too. Anyways, go check out Our Second Nature!! You won’t be disappointed.

Stepping into Fall with Famous Footwear

Mules are a staple for my wardrobe! And I love ones that work for different seasons as well. Mules were a big trend for summer and they are definitely going to be going into fall as well! The thing I like best about these particular mules from Famous Footwear is how easily they slide on and off my foot! Perfect for an outfit change whether I want to pair them with simple jeans and a tee for the morning when I am on my way to get my daily iced latte. And then for later paired with a little black dress for the night. It’s important for me to have a shoe that fits all of the different things I do throughout the day and week! They have a subtle mix of both casual and still dressy that gives them so much potential for many different looks and outfits.

Last Bit of Summer in Faithfull the Brand

Have you guys heard of Faithfull the Brand yet? I’m pretty sure most of you have but if you haven’t, they’re definitely a brand to know! They embody everything summer and effortless, cool style. Their pieces are so easy to wear and comfortable, perfect for days at the beach or lounging around with friends. Every piece I’ve ever had from Faithfull has been amazing. This romper was great for roaming around Los Angeles and the desert when I was there.

This weekend feels like the last little bit of summer. I went camping with some friends on Friday, then we went on a 7.5 mile hike the next day. Then I went to the river with my bf yesterday and today I’m going to go float the river! Obviously trying to pack as much summer as I can into this weekend mostly because I am in denial that it’s almost coming to an end. As a kid, for some reason I wasn’t a big summer person but it’s without a doubt my favorite season now and this year was a good one.

Joshua Tree Getaway

I honestly think about Joshua Tree at least a couple of times a week. It was such a cool experience and a place like I’ve never seen before. The desert has always intrigued me and Joshua Tree is the ultimate desert oasis. I loved all of the giant Joshua Trees, the beautiful sunset and how perfectly you could star gaze. It’s a place I am dying to go back to.
One of the best things about my trip to Joshua Tree was this amazing Airbnb I stayed at! You might have seen my previous post about Joshua Tree Acres, well these photos were taken inside of the adorable little clubhouse they had where the bathroom, kitchen and living space was. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. The entire space gave me so much inspiration after, I’ve been trying to mimic the decor in my own place ever since. This adorable little Desert Flower book, I even found on Amazon as well! It’s almost like a little souvenir to always remember this time in Joshua Tree.

Red Romper in Venice Beach

As summer comes closer to end, I can’t help by reminisce on this perfect time in Venice, California. I’m not going to lie, the first time I ever went to Venice Beach…I wasn’t a fan. There was just something overwhelming and cheesy about it that I didn’t like. But going back the second time, I had a little change of heart. Maybe it was because we went around sunset and the glow of the sun and excitement of summer could be felt. Sometimes, I think you just have to give things a second chance! Now I can’t wait to go back there. 
Basket bags and strappy sandals were such a staple for me over the summer. Along with printed rompers! Faithfull the Brand has SO many cute styles that pair well with my favorite basket bags. I loved the print on this one and the vibrant red color of it. It’s playful and girly which isn’t usually my style, but I love it.
