Another throwback post from this summer in Los Angeles….I told you we took a lot of outfit photos! One of the coolest locations we went to was at the Griffith Observatory. It was my first time there and it was SO cool. The architecture was incredible as well as the views of the Hollywood sign and of Los Angeles. I thought this floral maxi dress would be a cool contrast with the area. Plus it was perfect for the weather there as well. Even thought it’s been rainy and cold in Portland, on the not so rainy days, maxi dresses are still great for fall! And I love floral in fall as well; there’s just something about a gorgeous, feminine floral print while being surrounded by the golds and reds of fall that make me so happy! I think the darker color of the dress makes it even more fall appropriate.
I am super excited to be heading back to California at the end of next week! My bf and I are making a little road trip to Nevada and we are going to stop in San Francisco one of the days as well. Honestly, all I can think about is getting In n Out Burger and Raising Canes…I really miss living in the desert 😉 haha

Our Second Nature at Ostrich Farm, Los Angeles

Just looking at these photos is making me miss Los Angeles and this little desert trip I went on this summer. There’s just something so great about Los Angeles and all of it’s amazing places to shop, eat, and see. Well I had been snooping on Instagram for the longest time, adding places to my list of places I wanted to go to. Ostrich Farm was one of those places that I had been longing to go to for soo long, even back when I was living in Las Vegas a couple years ago. 
We only stayed for a cheese plate and a drink but it was SO good and did not disappoint. Not only did I enjoy some great food, I soaked up a lot of interior inspiration as well!

Another great thing about Ostrich Farm was this BEAUTIFUL bougainvillea right behind the restaurant as well…so of course we had a snap a few photos.

Ok now that we’ve talked about the beautiful Ostrich Farm, I gotta give you guys the details on this amazing two piece set! I AM IN LOVEE WITH IT. Our Second Nature is one of my new favorite brands that I discovered this summer. Even though I wore it over the summer, this set works so well into fall too. I actually wore it to my graduation portfolio day, it’s just so versatile and the color is classic.
There’s just something effortlessly cool about two piece sets right? They’re so much easier than wearing a romper too! haha

How to Instantly Spruce up Your Room with Revival Rugs!

After seeing endless inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram, I had been wanting to upgrade my place with a new rug for the longest time. But being a college student, finding a rug that fits my style, aesthetic, and my price range was really difficult. 
I am so happy to let you guys know that Revival Rugs is launching today! Their rugs are SO stunning and all vintage. They’re all sourced from Turkey and are over 30-100 years old! The cool thing about Revival Rugs is that they put the rugs through a Revival Process to give them a more modern look, you can check out a video of the process here. The process removes extra dirt and cleans them up so that they’re ready for your home or space!
When I talked to the founder of Revival Rugs, he told me that him and his wife were having the same difficulties finding a rug that they loved but wasn’t insanely expensive or a cheap remake. That’s what inspired them to launch Revival Rugs! 
Another thing I really loved when I received my rugs, is that they were in a simple, easy to carry box. I was so worried it was going to be tough carrying them to my car and up the stairs into my place but I was able to carry both of the rugs by myself!

Have you ever had a sweater so cozy, you just want to hug yourself?! lol My feeling when I wear this one. I love every single little thing about this sweater. It’s so interesting too because I usually stay far away from anything V-neck. I always thought they just didn’t fit me but despite the v-neck on this sweater…I knew I had to have it. I am so glad that I took a risk on it too. This mustard brown color is perfect for this time of year and can’t help but pairing it with my favorite free people boots. (seriously though, I’ve had these for three years now!)

The sweater weather hype is real! Although I love summer so much and I am really not looking forward to the rainy season, I love me some sweater weather like the next girl! So here are a couple of my

A cropped jacket is such a great fall staple! They can be paired endless ways and are a bit lighter than going for a big overcoat. I love this one because it’s kind of fuzzy too! It would go perfect with a maxi dress and boots and of course a tee and some corduroy pants like I styled here! 
When it comes to sunglasses, I think a lot of people imagine them mostly just for the summer time but I have been surprised by how much I have been wearing my sunglasses this month!
