I’m sure I speak for all of us when I say, I’m fully ready for Spring! It seems like even though we’re technically in Spring, it feels like we’re still stuck in Winter. Especially those of you on the east coast dealing with snow right now!
We had a pretty decent day in Portland this week where it wasn’t raining but it was overcast and perfect for photos. Even though some of my outfits aren’t super weather appropriate, I hope that you can come back to them when it starts to warm up a bit. Or maybe you’ve been having great weather where you live, this outfit is for you too!
As I get older, I have started to really understand my personal style more and more. I love a good floral print, yes I know…so original for spring but I can’t deny my love for it! And a good wrap floral dress has been a weakness of mine for a couple of years now. Pairing this mule and bag together has also been a go to for me since they compliment each other so well. It’s the best feeling when an investment piece was really worth the investment and these shoes were so worth it! I’m even contemplating getting a second pair since I wear them so often.
Have any of you shopped at & Other Stories? They’ve been one of my favorite shops/brands as of lately! I love their classic styles and they’re super affordable which makes them even better! This wrap dress is from & Other Stories and I’m not going to lie, I was a little skeptical when I first saw it online. But it was one of those rare pieces where it actually looked better on and in person! I love when that happens!

Shoes are definitely my weakness but a good bag is really starting to become more and more important to me as well. With Spring finally being here, I thought I would do a mini round up of some bags that have caught my eye this season! I love a good basket bag (I’m sure you already know this!) but there a lot of other great styles out there as well. Crossbody bags will probably always be my favorite just because the are the most comfortable for walking around with them, but I have also been loving the handle bags as well, similar to the one I am wearing in these photos.
Investing in a designer bag or a more higher end bag has been something I have been doing more often as well. I like the idea of having a nice bag that I know will last a long time and I can wear it multiple ways with various outfits. Putting a little bit of money away at a time and then eventually treating myself to a nice bag is so rewarding! It can take some time, but it’s been worth it so far! I bought myself this bag for my birthday and as just a little “treat yourself for working hard” gift.
The unique shape really drew me into it along with the faux alligator texture…it’s so interesting!

I don’t know how many dry shampoo’s I have tried out, but it’s been a lot! There have been so many that don’t help out my hair at all and leave it looking the same or even worse. I am happy to say that I am loving Got2b’s new dry shampoo! All of the fragrance’s smell so good too!
Busy weeks can mean that it can be hard to find time to fix your hair. That’s why dry shampoo has been a go to for me for years now! Sometimes, I even like to add a little bit in my hair after styling it to give it a little extra volume and hopefully prevent a bit of oiliness!
Got2b’s new dry shampoo comes in three different scents: Clean, Tropical, and Floral! And it’s conveniently available at Ulta! Another one of my go-to places!
Let me know what you guys think after trying it out!!

Spring Neutrals in Rainy Portland

6L0A3131 6L0A3114 6L0A3195 6L0A3162 6L0A3166 6L0A3149

As many of you know, I am a full time blogger here in Portland, OR! I love this city so much, it’s constantly inspiring me and I feel really lucky to be so close to incredible outdoor locations and adorable local shops. But Portland rains SO much this time of year which can be really frustrating when you have lots of outfits you want to photograph. Last week, Leo (my boyfriend, who takes a lot of my photos) had a day off so we were planning on shooting a few looks. I was really feeling motivated and excited to get some outfits done. I got ready, had my outfits planned out and then of course it started to pour.
I know this sounds like such a small and dumb problem, compared to so many other issues currently going on it the world. But it really deflated my spirit and mood, and of course I started to cry.
We decided to try and take some images anyway and I was so happy we took a chance. These images turned out better than I imagined and you can hardly tell it was raining (luckily this adorable car was parked under a few trees!).
Basically, this little bump and change in plans made me realize that sometimes you can’t force things and you just have to go with the flow! Things will most likely work itself out. Learning to brush small things off is so important and I’m really starting to learn that. Also, being self employed, I rarely ever just take a real break. I am constantly planning or shooting outfits or photos or posting something. Learning to step away just for a bit to recharge is really important for self health and care.
These pieces have been on repeat within the past year or so. I love wearing pieces different ways and then showing you all how I wear them! These Mari Giudicelli mules have been my go to since the minute I got them. They go with so many different outfits and seasons! Seriously my dream shoes.
I’m really looking forward to carrying this color palette through the rest of the season!

Local Love – TAH Bags

I love being able to partner with local brands, support Portland’s small businesses and then sharing them with all of you! TAH, or ‘tote a heel’, is a Portland brand that strives for efficiency in their designs while still staying stylish. And they definitely nailed it. The quality of this bag really stands out and blends in perfectly with many of my outfits. The oversized tassel is probably my favorite thing about the bag. It makes such a cool statement on a classic bag.
Going into spring and summer again, I really am loving shaped bags again. I think a simple circle bag should be a staple in everyone’s closet. They’re just so fun too!

There’s just nothing like the quality of a bag that was made by hand! If you have yet to get yourself a bag like this, I really recommend it. Investing in a piece made by hand will really end up lasting through the years.
TAH also has so many great tote bags if you find yourself always on the go and needing to take lots of things with you! That’s actually what inspired the owner to create TAH, as she wanted a bag she could easily carry around her shoes for work with her as well as other items such as a laptop and work clothes. It can be hard finding quality tote bags that are still stylish, but TAH really has some great options. I LOVE their Commuter bag! Make sure and check out the TAH site and support local Portland brands!
