If you follow me on Instagram, you might already know that this blazer was one of my recent thrift/vintage finds I got while in Reno over Thanksgiving! I’m a little surprised that it fits because I ended up buying it without trying it on. But I guess it was just meant to be because it fit like a glove! No tailoring necessary! The thrifting is Reno is WAY better than I could have imagined. I ended up finding a few bags, a belt, this suit, a few button up tops and a really awesome pair of pants. Plus, we ended up going on Black Friday and one of the thrift stores was doing a half off sale! The trip ignited my love for vintage and thrifting again. I took a long break from it because of school and just feeling like I had no extra time for it. But it’s something I want to make more time for again and possibly start up my vintage shop again!

Anyways, I wanted to share this post in hopes of inspiring you to pair your vintage and thrift finds with modern pieces. There’s nothing I love more than pairing the two together! Would you have guessed I got this suit at a thrift shop if I hadn’t told you?! That’s what I love about pairing those pieces with modern pieces I have already in my closet.

I’m looking forward to sharing more of my finds! Let me know if you have had any luck thrifting lately! What’s been your best recent find?

I can’t believe it’s been over a week since I last put a blog post up! This time of year is always SO busy and I was out of town in Reno for Thanksgiving and really just took that week off from creating content to spend time with family and be in the moment. Let me tell you…it was much needed! But I feel like my mind is still slightly in “vacation” mode. I took this week to relax just a little more and get ready to create more content once the weather cooperates again. This time of the year is super rainy in Portland so it can make it difficult to shoot new posts. This week though, my friend Chantel came over and shot some film photos again in my place! I recently bought this chair as an early Christmas gift to myself and I had been wanting to shoot some photos with it! Didn’t they turn out dreamy?!

I’ve been pushing myself to do different types of shots and content. Film has always been so interesting to me so it’s been nice to create more film content. When I went to community college, I took a film photography class and that’s what really sparked my interest. From there on, I would occasionally take film photos and then just kind of stopped. So it really is great to get back into it again, even if I’m not behind the camera. Leo and I have another fun trip to the desert planned next year and I am planning on finding a great film camera for it too!

Thanks again to Chantel for the photos! If you’re interested, she sells film cameras here too!

Thank you LEVI’S for sponsoring this post, as always all opinions are my own.

I don’t think I have been this excited about a blog post in awhile! Levi’s has been one of my favorite brands for many years now. The amount of vintage Levi’s I have is getting a bit out of control but I love building my collection! And I just love the way that they fit. Anyways, I am SO excited to collaborate with Levi’s on this post and show you three outfits in Levi’s jeans! All completely different and ideal for a number of occasions. I really wanted to show how diverse these jeans are, plus they fit my body just the way I want them too!

The first look, as seen above, is a bit of a casual, cool, almost rock and roll look. This is something I would wear to a show or going out with friends. I like my outfits feeling effortless and but I can still dress up a pair of jeans and tee with a heeled boot. Since the real fall and winter weather decided to show up, this Levi’s sherpa trucker has also been great to pair with my favorite jeans. These jeans have a bit more of a wide leg to them which I love pairing with boots to show off the shape!

Look number two, comfy, cool basics that are great for grabbing coffee, running errands and tackling a busy day. This sweater also has interesting details that it feels a more put together than just throwing on a regular sweatshirt. Plus the inside is so soft! Comfort is always key.

The Levi’s 501 style is without a doubt my favorite! They still have that vintage feel with the button fly while remaining modern and relevant for all of my outfits. Also great for a casual look like seen here or can be easily dressed up with a blouse and a heel or boot.

The last look is a bit more dressy than the other two. I would wear this to a date night with my boyfriend or for an event. The hem detail on the jean give this look a bit more of an edge and make a regular tee and denim look more interesting. The Levi’s wedgie fit is similar to the 501 style with the button fly detail but I like the higher waist with these ones and I feel like they fit my curves a little better. Great for all body types!

How to Wear White Jeans in Winter

White jeans: a spring and summer staple. But so many end up putting them away once September hits (the labor day rule is OUTDATED right?!) I am here to show you a way that you can wear those white jeans you love in the winter! White denim probably isn’t the best on a rainy or winter day, but check your weather and plan them on a nice sunny fall or winter day. Pairing white denim with boots and a blazer or jacket is such an easy way to wear white this time of year.

Also, did you notice anything extra special about these photos?! They’re all shot on film! My friend Chantel has an online film shop where she sells film cameras. Since she has to test them all out first, she let me be her guinea pig and take some shots with the cameras. Film is always just so special to me. I love how it’s unforgiving, it’s real. I am hoping to incorporate more film shots on here as well as my instagram. It really is near and dear to my heart and I always love the outcome.

Alright, I am keeping this short because I am headed to Reno tomorrow and I have SO much on my to do list still. The days seemed to fly by this week. But I am looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with my family and eat ALL THE FOOD!!
