You guys, I am honestly stumped of what to wear most days this time of year. Portland’s weather is always so all over the place in Spring. It’ll be sunny in the morning and then start pouring a couple of hours later. Then it will be chilly and warm up in an instant. It makes it super difficult to decide wtf to wear! I’ve been living in a rain jacket most of the time but yesterday we finally got a dry day and I was able to wear this. I just wanted to wear something simple. Jeans with a nice top and pair it off with my favorite pair of shoes I could finally wear since it was dry out. When I wanted to wear something a little more comfortable for errands, I just swapped out these shoes for my converse.

This top was a recent thrift find and I just love the neckline! Another great piece to dress up or down and I have been on the look out for great basics like this more than ever. Sometimes it’s nice to just have some basics that are effortless and don’t require too much effort to put together.

Anyways, I am looking so forward to our trip to the desert in just a couple of weeks. I took some time off last week while I was in Reno and have been playing catch up ever since. Another vacation is already needed! Who else is feeling the same way?

What I’m wearing: Top: Vintage/Thrifted (I sell vintage here!), Necklace: Wolf Circus, Coat: Mango, Jeans: Vintage 501 Levi’s (similar here), Shoes: Mari Giudicelli, Bag: Doen (sold out)

White on white for Spring, ground breaking I know. But when you find a look that you like, it’s hard not to repeat it! I love how simple and effortless neutrals look paired together and they’re so nice for this time of year. This look is great for the chilly spring days that start the beginning of the season. You could easily pair a look like this with sandals for warmer days!

This photo location was one I had in mind for so long! Isn’t the apartment building so cool?! I love that it looks like it’s from a Wes Anderson movie. The symmetry and the pink and green together, instantly caught my eye! And then right across the street there happened to be the perfect vintage car there! Somethings are just meant to be.

What I’m Wearing: Jacket: c/o Harly Jae, Jeans: & Other Stories (Similar here and here), Boots: Paloma Wool (Sold out), Rings: Wolf Circus

Who else is a complete sucker for wide leg denim lately?! They’re slowly taking over my closet and outfits. It’s just a classic style right now that I can’t get enough of! Everlane just announced their new Denim Drop – Edition Two and it’s the ultimate wide leg jean. The waiting list is now open but I was able to receive a pair to share with you a bit before the launch and to answer any questions you might have about them!

In case you’re curious about sizing, I might not have the best information since I have only tried a couple of jeans from Everlane in the past. In the past though, I felt like the pairs I had ran a bit small and these ones I would say are more true to size. I am 5 foot 7, 150lbs and got the 27 and they fit PERFECT! The hold their shape really well too with wear which is so important to me. I can stand when jeans start to wrinkle and crease around the crotch area. Of course they’re going to a little bit, but for the most part these are stiff and a nice thick denim feel. Not too much stretch! The only complaint I have about these jeans, if any, is I prefer my wide leg pants to be a bit longer, that way I can wear them with boots. These ones I would say are better for spring where you can show more ankle and wear with sandals. That could just be my opinion though!

For this post, I also wanted to show how versatile these jeans, and any wide leg jean, can be! It’s important for me to have pieces that can be styled multiple ways depending on what I feel like wearing that day or what I have planned.

Let me know what outfit is your favorite! And if you have any questions about the jeans, ask below and I will be happy to answer! I am also wearing the lighter shade of the two available.

And make sure to get on the Everlane Denim Drop Waitlist here!!

(also just wanted to mention, this post is not sponsored or paid. I was gifted these jeans from Everlane to try and share before the launch though!)

Spring Cleaning + New Linen Sheets!

It’s that time of year…SPRING CLEANING!

I have definitely been in the mood to clean out my closet, declutter, rearrange the apartment to do some deep cleaning and to top it all off: get new sheets! For the longest time, I would honestly just skip getting sheets. I would just get a big giant down comforter and call it good. Until recently, I received a pair of linen sheets from Snowe and I’m never going back to no sheets again. The first night getting into bed after washing the sheets and putting them on the bed was seriously magic! There’s nothing like going into a bed of clean, soft sheets after a long day. It feels like you’re treating yourself for all the hard work you just did!

Just a warning though, it makes it really difficult to get out of bed when it’s so comfortable 😉

Another little tip/idea: after all of the spring cleaning you do, treat yourself to coffee or breakfast in bed. Turn off all technology and get lost in a good book or get inspired by a magazine! This is something I want to try and do more often.

This post was sponsored by Snowe by all opinions and ideas are my own!

When I find a color that I love, I can’t stop wearing it! And my love with yellow is in full swing now that Spring is here. I went thrifting with one of my friends and couple of weekends ago and she found this blazer for me! THE COLOR IS SO GOOD. THE FIT IS PERFECT. It was seriously meant to be and just reminded me how much thrifting is worth it. If you’re looking to try the blazer trend this spring too, definitely hit up your local thrift shop! I know I have at least 3 blazers I’ve found while thrifting and look super modern!

I’m not much of a heel kind of girl, I prefer boots and sneakers (or flats in the summer) but these ones caught my eye! Maybe because they’re yellow!!
But I just love the strappy, asymmetrical design. Super cool and stays on my foot really well making them pretty easy to walk in! I only say pretty easy because I still need to practice walking in heels, it’s never been my strong suit. Haha!

LIFE UPDATES -Can you believe that it’s almost April?! March was such a busy month that it flew by so fast! Leo (my boyfriend) and I are headed down to the desert in just a little over a month and I am getting so excited for it!! Every year, I love visiting Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and Los Angeles. I am terrified of flying, so this is one of my favorite places to road trip but I am hoping to conquer my fears and travel more this year. What are you favorite places to visit in the US? Also if you have any suggestions of places to visit in Southern California, let me know!
