So excited to share an outfit with one of my favorite Spring purchases….the Labucq Kitty Loafer!

It’s been really tough trying to come up with outfits and honestly getting dressed in anything other than sweats and a hoodie. But this outfit was one of the only looks recently that got me looking forward to dressing up a bit and putting it on. I’ve been seeing these Labucq kitty loafer’s and was glad to finally get a pair myself! They remind me of something I had in middle school which makes me love them even more because of the nostalgia.

One thing I have my radar on for spring/summer this year are sheer tops and printed tops! I know this one isn’t sheer but I love the all over print like this. It’s super 90s to me and I’ve been finding some cool sheer tops while thrifting lately. I think it adds a little personality to a classic pair of black jeans.

Wow hi hello!!! I can’t believe I haven’t posted on my blog is SO long! This is my first post of the year and I don’t know how it’s been since November since I last posted 🙁

But I’m back! Feeling more motivated. I just honestly was in a huge creative rut. The weather has been so gloomy in Portland and it just doesn’t really make me want to take photos or wear anything besides sweats. So that’s what got me thinking though. I needed to share more of what I’ve been wearing lately. SNEAKERS AND SWEATS. One of the only good things that 2020 brought was how normalized wearing comfortable and casual clothes is no matter the occasion. I’ve always been a tomboy and did sports growing up, so wearing sneakers is like second nature to me!

I love this beige, minimal color palette of this look too. I’ve heard so many people say that they want to try wearing more sneakers/sneaker looks but don’t know where to start. I think starting with a neutral color palette is always a good idea. It’s easy to mix and match with pieces you probably already have too..

If you’re looking for a good pair of sweats, this pair is SO comfortable and soft. I practically live in these during the week. And they’re great to wear around the house, walking the dogs, grabbing coffee…all of the typical 2021 wfh things!

I found this coat last year while thrifting and instantly put it in my cart. But it took me awhile to actually start wearing it for some reason. This season, leather coats are taking over and I am loving this trend! Especially since this style of coat is pretty easy to find while thrifting. I’ve found a few leather coats since then!

With so much going on this year and health being a priority, there’s another part of health I have been focusing on more and thats my dental health! I recently got the opportunity to collaborate with Oral-B and they’re new iO electric toothbrush and I am SO happy about it! My mom used to have me use an electric toothbrush when I was younger but I forgot how great of a clean you get when you use one!

Ok so a couple great things about the Oral-B iO electric toothbrush: it has a timer! When you brush your teeth for 2 minutes and up, you will get a smiley face. This indicates that you brushed your teeth for a good amount of time. Anything less and you will get a frowny face or a half smile, letting you know you should probably brush a little longer. It also pulses every 30 seconds to make sure you spend the same amount on every section of your teeth! It’s great knowing that you’re getting the right amount of brushing time in!

I also chatted with a local dentist to get his insight on why an Oral-B iO electric toothbrush is better than just a regular toothbrush. You’re getting a better clean with an electric toothbrush which results in healthier gums and less tooth decay. The dentist also mentioned that the Oral-B iO also has a pressure sensor to make sure you’re not brushing too hard. Brushing too hard can result in premature loss of tooth structure and/or increased gum recession. SO many great things about this toothbrush! Oral-B actually partnered with dentist professionals in able to create the iO power brush!

Oral-B also provided 200 iO power brush to people in need through the month on September. COVID-19 has been detrimental to so many people so Oral-B decided to donate brushes to teachers in need as well as front line workers. I’m honestly so proud to be working with a company like this.

Ok don’t mind me if I end up wearing this for the rest of the year and into winter! It’s official puffer coat season! Puffer coats are such a staple for me when the weather cools down. They’re almost always super comfy, really warm and effortlessly cool. They can be dressed up with heeled boot or down with sneakers. Honestly, if you’ve been on the fence about getting a puffer coat…do it! Check out some previous ways I’ve styled puffer coats here and here!

I love the unique stitching design of this one and it’s my favorite color! I decided to go super puffy and pair this look with my pillow bag. Feeling like a literal cloud in this look! Nothing better! lol

I’m not sure if I mentioned these pants previously, but they’re back in stock (hopefully still in stock!) but they’re my favorite pair of trousers! I got them a year ago and bought a second pair when they restocked because I love them so much! If you’re between sizes, I would suggest going with the size up so that they’re more of a loose fit.
