Fall Trend: Fuzzy Bucket Hats

fall trend outfit: fuzzy bucket hats

I usually try not to focus my style so much around trends but this one I am in love with!! Fuzzy bucket hats seem to be very popular lately and I am on board for this one. Not only are they so cute and soft but they’re a great accessory for fall and winter because of how warm they are! If I am going to buy a trendy piece, I try to ensure that I will be able to incorporate it in many outfits and upcoming seasons as well. There’s nothing worse than buy something that is just a part of the fashion cycle and will be out of style in a few short weeks. But you will definitely be seeing more fuzzy bucket hats in upcoming posts and outfits on instagram as seen here and here!

I also wanted to mention a little fall style tip! Trouser pants have been EVERYWHERE and are pretty expensive. Brands like Aritzia and Djerf Avenue have them priced at $140+! Well I have had really good luck finding them at thrift stores! They’re not always perfect and they can be tricky when finding the right size. But they are a pretty good dupe for just a quarter of the price! It’s kind of like finding a good pair of jeans, you might to try on a bunch of pairs before you find the right one but I thrifted these ones and they look like something for sale online! Definitely check out both the mens and women’s sections. This includes finding a good blazer too! They can be pretty expensive online but I’ve find so many good ones in the mens section at thrift stores!

One of my favorite things to wear during the fall months are matching knit sets! They’re so cozy and I love that you can wear the pieces individually as well. The pants would pair so well with a graphic tee or an oversized sweater and coat and then you could wear the top with trousers or jeans! They work for so many seasons too, not just fall. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized how much versatile pieces truly mean to me. I like being able to wear something multiple ways and through many different seasons.

I just wanted to share a couple more images at this beautiful place! I just realized I didn’t share the details in the previous post. So if you’re looking for a place to get away near Joshua Tree, this rental is a dream.

In a closet full of basics and minimal staples, it’s always great to have some statement pieces! I thought I would share a couple of my favorite statement pieces for fall in this post. Since I’ve moved out of Portland and moved to a small town in the middle of nowhere (just temporarily!) I’ve found myself at thrift stores more than ever. There aren’t too many options for shopping around here so I always find myself at the thrift stores seeing what I can find. When I first moved here, I happened to find this really cool 60s/70s style leather jacket…for only $25! The details are so cool and I feel like the colors fit in perfectly with so many pieces already in my closet. I love that it has a belt so that it gives me more of a waist line. Then I can pair it with more baggier/loose jeans! It’s now one of my favorite statement pieces!

Now let’s talk about one of the other statement pieces in the post. I think it’s pretty obvious…this hat! I was sort of on the fence about it when I first tried it on, but it’s started to grow on me! It’s such a fun and funky way to add some interest to an outfit. Even though this coat is enough of a statement on its own, styling the pieces together remind me of something a 60s icon would have worn!

ALSO BIG NEWS!

One of my favorite places to shop online, Shopbop, is having a huge sale and this is the perfect time to shop for your own statement pieces!

Use code STYLE to get up to 25% off your entire purchase!!! They have SO many great brands! The sale ends tomorrow so make sure to check it out now!! SHOP HERE!!!!

Well just like that, fall is here! And fall dresses are one of my favorites and go to’s for the season. I love how they can be styled with boots, a cardigan and/or a long coat as the weather cools down. A good dress is such a good staple for fall. I think I am even going to style them with tights again this year, this is something I did a lot in high school.

I took these photos the other day and am really happy with how they turned out! I had to use my tripod and sometimes it can get really frustrating so it’s nice when it all ends up coming together well. I’m still living in Arizona and creating content has definitely been a bit more of a challenge than it was in Portland. But I’m making the best of it so if you’re still here, THANK YOU! 🙂
