Do me a favor…As you read this and look at these photos, please listen to Summer Breeze by Seals & Crofts. There’s just something about these photos that has me repeating that song in my head. Maybe it’s the goofy ass grin on my face that knows summer is right around the corner, or the fact that I felt like a kid again while I was swinging with my hair blowing in my face OR the fact that these are all film and it’s just so nostalgic. I love shooting with Elisabeth because the photos always look so raw and effortless just like they used to be when film was the only option. I love the surprise that film has and the fact that you only get one shot to get that moment. There’s no going back, there’s no repeating until you get the “perfect” moment, you just have to hope you can capture it while it’s there.
