Austin has been at the top of my list of places to visit for awhile now! A couple years ago, I went on a road trip with my parents to Texas (before I moved here) and we stopped in San Antonio and Austin. But when we stopped in Austin, we were only there for a couple of hours so I was ready to visit and spend more time. Not only was Austin at the top of my list, but I’ve always wanted to check out Austin Proper Hotel. Kelly Wearstler is one of my biggest inspirations for interior design so being able to stay at a place she decorated was a dream.

It was really fun just walking around the city and exploring a few new places. I would have to say LoLo Wine was one of my favorite places I went. It was such a cute setting and the happy hour was great! Before I drove home, I stopped by Austin Flower Co. too so I could bring home some flowers. I ended up getting a big bundle of stuff for only $30 so I will definitely be making a stop there every time I visit. I am counting down the days until I can save up enough money to go visit again! Fingers crossed I can stay at Austin Proper Hotel again!
